AMERICANA MORTGAGE GROUP RAISES MORE THAN $40,000 FOR MAKE-A-WISH

Americana Mortgage Group, Inc. held its first annual golf tournament this fall to raise funds for the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Metro New York at the North Hempstead Country Club, Port Washington.

This event had special meaning for Bob Moulton, president of Americana Mortgage Group and Manhasset resident, since he is also a Make-a-Wish parent. In 1998, Bob's daughter, Kelly, had her wish come true; she met Cinderella at Disney World. Since then, Kelly has become a goodwill ambassador for the Make-a- Wish foundation, speaking to community groups on behalf of the organization's mission to grant wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses.

Coordinated by Americana Mortgage Group's Marketing Director, Donna Cattano, the day became a family affair, with every member of the Moulton family pitching in. Bob and his wife, Debbie, along with Kelly and sons Robert and Danny, were on hand to ensure the success of the event. "My family and I are so grateful to our friends and colleagues who rallied with us to support this effort on behalf of Make-a-Wish children," said Moulton.

According to Pat Clemency, president and CEO for the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Metro New York, "We feel very fortunate to have had the help and support of Americana Mortgage Group. The proceeds will help us keep our promise to every child with a life-threatening illness who needs a special moment of love, laughter and treasured memories. Thanks to this incredible gift, we are edging toward our goal of being able to grant more than 450 wishes in 2003.

Americana Mortgage Group presented Make-a-Wish Foundation with a check for $43,392.60 and promised to make this an annual event.
