A personal note from Bob Moulton, President of Americana Mortgage Group:
Six years and counting! Our Americana Mortgage Group Golf Tournament has raised close to $300,000 for local charities in its short history. That impressive number would not be possible without the generosity of our many loyal supporters.
Every year, we look forward to adding to that list, and hope to see you at our benefit outing on Monday, June 2, 2008. As in the past, it will be held at the beautiful North Hempstead Country Club in Port Washington.
The event marks the second year of our family charity, the Kelly Marie Moulton Foundation. Named for a young woman we all admire and are blessed to have in our lives, the Foundation was created with our daughter Kelly Marie’s wish in mind—that is to give back to the medical and charitable community that stood by her, and our family, during her decade-long battle against life-threatening illness and complications.
Proceeds from our golf outings will continue to endow the Foundation, and enable us to support those charities that share our mission. Last year, it distributed a total of $60,000 in grants to Make-A-Wish® Foundation of Metro NY, The Cardiac Transplant Program of Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Sister Pat's Kids Camp (for children with cancer).
In whatever ways you choose to participate—as a golfer, sponsor, attending our evening reception, or making a donation to our auctions or golfer bags—your gift will go a long way toward ultimately helping so many children through this effort. And please bring your friends and colleagues!
